Set in the grounds of Wetheral church in north Cumbria is this unique sundial.
The Church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity, St. Constantine and St. Mary.
Looking at the stones used to make up this time piece we are not sure if this was it’s original purpose.
Assorted symbols and carvings seem to be made in to the upright pillar.
