McVities, Caldewgate. Carlisle
The McVities factory in Caldewgate has a clock mounted on a brown clad housing above the main factory building.
This building was severely flooded during the 2005 Carlisle flood. It is the last of the big factories in the city centre.
It is a former Carr biscuit factory. Bright green Carrs flour trucks can still be seen delivering to the factory.
